Do you think you are not enough of a computer crack to create such a self-test? We would like to convince you that you do not have to be one. At our forthcoming information event (in English) on Tuesday, December 5, 2006, 12:15 PM – 1:15 PM, ETH Zentrum, HG D16.2 we will demonstrate the Hot Potatoes application, which allows for the easy creation of online self-tests (not real exams). We will provide tips on how to create good multiple choice questions with feedback that really test the things you want your students to learn, independent of the subject you are teaching. There will also be time for questions and answers. Lunch and beverages are provided for those who have filled in the online registration form accessible via http://elbanet.ethz.ch/anmeldung_hotpot.html by November 30.
