The aim of MARVEL is to implement and evaluate e-Learning environments for Mechatronics in Vocational and Professional Training, that allow students ubiquitous online access to physical workshops and laboratory facilities from remote places. A main aspect is the use of real worlds in virtual learning environments in order to support work-process-oriented and distributed cooperative learning with real-life systems.
