Joining a handful of other high schools in the country with such a program, T.C.Williams High School has passed out 2100 laptop computers for its students to use for research and homework. The computers will have wireless Web access on campus, and can be used off campus for non-Internet work. The idea is to make sure students of all socioeconomic backgrounds have the latest equipment in an increasingly computerized world. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A28050-2004Oct12.html
